Rich history and characterful establishment

At the beginning of the 20th century, the establishment was a motorist stopover. The Hôtel Larivaut was one of the first to offer a garage to its visitors.

In the 1980s, the hotel was demolished. It was rebuilt in 1992 to revitalize the town. It then took the name "Relais de Marie".

It was in 2023 that the history of the establishment intertwined with that of Alain. He wanted to restore it to its former name, that of the Larivaut family. After a renovation, this hotel welcomes you to the city center of Puy-Guillaume, a stone's throw from Thiers.

The decor of the rooms and the rest of the Hôtel Larivaut creates a cozy, modern, and warm environment. It was created with the help of the Baltys architectural firm, located in Lyon.

Comfortable rooms and beautiful amenities

In our 3-star establishment, we offer 18 comfortable and welcoming rooms. The Double Rooms are adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Check-in is from 4 p.m.. On the day of your departure, you must vacate your room by 10:30 a.m..

In all rooms, you can add a baby crib free of charge. Upon request and subject to availability, we can add an extra bed for an adult or child to the Double Rooms, for an additional fee (€15/night).

A gourmet moment and good products

Enjoy a classic sweet and savory breakfast in the form of a buffet. You can sit in the dining room or on the terrace, from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. on weekdays and from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on weekends.

Start your day on a sweet note with bread, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks, and much more.

Breakfast costs €9.50 per person. It is free for children under 8 years old.

Private parking and easy parking

The Hôtel Larivaut is an exceptional base for visiting the region. To make getting around easier, we offer parking solutions tailored to your needs. You will have access to a bicycle room and motorcycle parking.

You will also be staying in a hotel with private parking near Thiers. We offer 18 free parking spaces. Across the street, in the Town Hall parking lot, you will find an electric vehicle charging station.

Warm welcome and 3-star services

At reception, we welcome you from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.. You'll find answers to your questions in French and English, as well as good tourist advice.

Our terrace can accommodate up to 30 people. It's ideal for a pleasant daytime getaway, for breakfast or a meal. We also offer a small lounge at reception, where you can relax and meet up.

Among all the little touches our 3-star hotel offers, you'll appreciate the fiberglass Wi-Fi connection. Our establishment accepts pets, for an additional fee.
